A 3D animation artist works to bring objects to life by making them move. The objects, which are really just data, should make us feel that they are alive, thinking and breathing, for example.
Some examples
You can find 3D animation artists in many different forms of media, such as video games, films, TV and advertising. If the media contains 3D objects, chances are a 3D animation artist is involved. Some good examples of 3D animation can be found in many films from the likes of Disney and Pixar, such as Ice Age, Toy Story and Star Wars.
