Drama teachers usually have their own background as actors. To become a teacher of this subject, you need years of experience in acting and the ability to pass this on to your students, to inspire them, to share your technique and knowledge with them, and to support them in their artistic and personal development. The background requirements of an acting teacher depend on the employer and the level of training at the institution.
